nope - it isn't

always get +5% pieces - especially for QB's and OL

I do, but there are a few positions that I struggle with at 31. Naturally I always forget which ones and am doomed to repeat my mistakes.

Agree with this, I do. But that also goes hand in hand with certain dots not getting very good pieces no matter WHEN you roll for them.

my lvl 51 QB has rolled 5% pass quality x2 and a pass distance 5% should i look for one more or keep what i have

Basically multi train as long as you are able to do so without losing your capabilities of upgrading your AEQ. I think your AEQ is sufficient although some may wonder if you can perhaps find a 4th piece and still have enough BTs to upgrade fully. At level 51 you should still have plenty of time to fully do so, I am just not sure what the 4th piece you might want would be...
