Let's say auto adjust is set to very quickly...

If in the package I have 4 plays. The % of each play is left at 100%.

Would it be better to use 25% per play?

Also, in the AI, if I ran 2 packages per down, and left their % at 100% each, Would it be better to use 50% per package?

I'm trying to get a better understanding of what is optimal for auto adjust to work.

Game officials have said there is no difference between the two however some users have found they experienced better results with the 25/25/25/25 or 50/50.

From my limited, unscientific data (my own personal experience and thoughts using both) I think you get a little more lean using plays that add up to 100 instead of using all 100s. I think all 100s tends to give you more random adjustments/less chance for repeating good plays, if that makes sense. I use both. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if I only had 5 plays in a package and was worried about spamming one, and not using the others enough, I would set them all at 100. If I had less confidence in my play selection and wanted auto adjust to do my job for me, I would use 25/25/25/25. Again, no data to back up my beliefs, just what I think based on my experience.

This

If you were to go back and tweak it later, it's simple calculation to knock a play down 20 % and bump
another up 20 % (15 % ... 35 %) rather than hoping 120 / 80/ 100 / 100 is going to function properly.

I'd love to hear Bort or Catch chime in on this.

I usually use the 100% for all plays in the package, but use 50/50 in the AI. It doesn't seem to go with the better working plays more. Well, at least not noticeable enough.

I'll try the breakdown of the % in the packages, and see if there is a noticeable difference.

I've always used the %'s within the packages FWIW. I like being able to make simple tweaks to plays that are or are not working. Then I use the auto-adjust within the OAI so it moves towards the packages that work better against a given opponent.

Breakdown the % in the packages to 5% each and see if you get results
