I do mine a tad differently lately. I 2-way until I get to the point where I'm done adding SP into skill #1. I then open 3-way. When I'm done adding SP to Skill #2, I open 4 way...etc. Works well on the VPB. I used this strategy for some of my recently retired dots and it worked very well, both EL-wise and performance-wise. Gotta away from it for a few generation of players and just went back to it with my newest batch. The only reason why I don't like immediately doing the 4-way is because of 2 reasons: 1) Training once every 4 days doesn't bring my primary 2 skills up quickly enough and 2) You end up training your 3rd and 4th skills up into the 40's before you start putting SP's into them and the training value pretty much sucks in that 38-48 zone.

That's just me though. Lots of ways to go about things.

Interesting. What if I multi train the 3rd and 4th attributes until 33/34? So i can cap it when i have the sp

33 is a nice number for me to start applying SP's. I hold SP now until I can hit a cap. For a while I was just applying them as I got them and it was really decreasing the long-term effect of training.

Dots that need high 4rth and 5th attributes like DBs, LBs, and some HBs are conducive to 4-way asap with a lot of circle capping.

Extreme 1 attribute dots like speed WRs and blitzers are a good match for Intense training through the first season or longer.

Dots that make their money on 2-3 main attributes like Dline, Cs and QBs are really fun to build with a good chunk of 3 way in the first season. Do your 2 unlocks first then pump up all your enhancements before unlocking 4-way around the end of the season. You can build great DTs this way.

These all work good enough to build WL dots, there really isn't a right or wrong answer unless you're going for some kind of mathematical perfection, but even then, opinions differ on what that is.

I was trained in 3-ways, she was a fun teacher, never 2-ways. I just came by that naturally.

Actually math works very well also. If you aren't good at math, I would suggest VPB. Nah forget it I still suggest VPB, it works to check your work.
