I've seen the place holder sacked before... but I have never seen a kick actually blocked. Does this mean setting the field goal DC actually has meaning?

FGs have been blocked for a few seasons now. I want to say the field goal DC actually means something but can't say for sure. I've been wanting to make an experimental dot with extreme jumping for a while but everyone says it'd be a waste of a roster spot. Have no idea if its random or depends on a build or not.

Yes, blocked FGs happen.

The FG Depth Chart... eh... I mean, blocked FGs happen, sure, but they're very, very rare. You probably want to at least make an effort to put half-decent blockers on your FG team now, and maybe for your FG Block team make half an effort to have someone who already happens to have lots of Speed and Jumping get into the backfield, just to improve your odds on both sides of the ball. But nothing beyond that. If you spend more than 2 minutes setting up those depth charts, you're probably doing it wrong.

Regardless of the FG depth chart setup, it is very rare tho.

Even when I had my 100+ jumping CBs around they couldn't block FGs. It's just a ridiculously hard roll that it basically comes down to RNG.

its a pass deflection roll that uses only the swat ball SA, no other SA / VA's or anything. It is extremely hard to pass. Depth chart, distance, none of that matters.

In my replay the guy that blocked it had 6 jumping and 0 in swat ball.
