NOTE I AM PRIMARILY LOOKING FOR WL BUT WOULD CONSIDER THE RIGHT NATTY PRO TEAM (Going to OC +1 team max, giving me 2 teams total). MOST OF THE BELOW WAS WROTE IN A PM TO 1 AGENT SO IF THE TONE FEELS FUNNY THAT IS WHY. Still this is an in-depth OC ad, so any PM contact I'd expect to have a similar level of detail/info.
Hows it going? First off to be clear, I am not necessarily willing to take a position this season. If I am someone you are interested in, I'd require a look at the offensive builds, a look at the team forum, and a chat with anyone else running the team as to their thoughts and expectations.
My Experience
Not sure how familiar you are with me. I've owned the Hedgehogs since season 2 and have been the OC for almost all of that time. Promoting from USA A#6 to USAPro and eventually WL, to which we've promoted 8 times (and demoted 8 times). I've OC'd 7 of those promotions and like 6.5 of the demotion seasons. I also have a season going 7-9 as Alpine's OC in WL and earning a demote, and 9-7 as the Nashville Hounds OC in WL hitting the playoffs. The puts me somewhere around 1/8 at hitting the WL playoffs, which let me tell you isn't the most impressive stat on earth.
Also got a couple APL championships way back with the White Rhino's, and a couple random OC jobs here or there.
Ability
While I no longer pump my ego as one of the top OC's in GLB which I once did, I am closer to that then my WL record would lead you to believe.
On the Hedgehogs this past season I was OCing for part of it. http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1192 From the Graz game to the Smugglers game is me OCing somewhere around my best, once I took the OC job back over until we were eliminated from the playoffs and I eased up a little.
Why I want the job
To put it simply, it will give me more experience to perhaps inflate my OC ego. I really need to get better and more comfortable in the current sim if the Hedgehogs are ever going to hit some WL playoffs (got a new sexy DC halfway through last season). A retarded monkey could afk promote to WL with the roster I have for next season in NAPL, so I have some time. Improving to become among GLB's best OCs, proving myself a bit more in WL, and getting more comfortable with the current sim are my main reasons.
Questions/Comments/Concerns are welcome
It's important that you guys are comfortable if you are interested in me as an OC. While I understand as an owner to have a leash on coordinators if they struggle, also understand that as a coordinator I cannot feel any such leash and do what I need to do. I actively scout defenses, spending 30-60 minutes/game picking/changing plays to exploit the D, as well as self-scouting our O on what does/doesn't work. I know what I'm doing and have experience that agrees, so you will not have someone who is overwhelmed and outmatched on the most basic levels by any means.
Also whether I am expected to control VA's, Tactics, and SP allocation is an important distinction as well...
We are early on before a long off-season, so I'm not looking for a quick decision here from either of us. I'm not sure if we've had much interaction/predisposition in the forums, but if there has been any that cause concerns I'm happy to address.
