Would contacting support advance or do anything otherwise, that posting in forum threads would not do?

Might give it a shot if so...
Instead of posting suggestions or questions about suggestions in the suggestion threads, send them to support now?

How can we answer this?
Just contact support and bring your answer to us.

I suggested a ticket system for suggestions, that was laughed at. It would be ideal, and cut down on the "fake", "stupid" suggestions people post, but the mods didn't want it for some reason, guess because there wouldn't be a format for discussion, not that it matters anyway, half the time people only put +1 as a comment.

No that did not translate to send all your suggestions to support, lol. It was "if you have any problems or questions with the process of how they are examined/implemented".

I think support will be glad if you don't flood the ticket system with suggestions. As a reminder, there are multiple interactions with the suggestions forum:

1. Catch scans the threads and directly passes ideas along to Bort.
2. Moderators will put a good/popular suggestion up for admin approval to be put up for vote.

The key factor at this factor being that they aren't huge projects (just because resources are limited and the new projects have Bort/corndog/Thorn/Antialias/etc. quite busy)

Bug tickets are now working, where bug mods get them, why not the same with suggestions.

Because suggestions are collaborative.

It's how you turn good suggestions into great suggestions.

Truth. Sometimes the OP suggestion can be made better through interaction. Seen that happen a few times.

If you have a suggestion that you want to send in via support you may totally do so, we welcome them! We may direct you to the suggestions forum so the issue is set up for a vote or to gauge the interest of other users or we may be able to provide feedback as to why that particular suggestion isn't one that we will be likely to fulfill (example: change the game from football to foosball).

Has already responded to the few suggestions that I had questions about...

and please do only send support questions on suggestions that are in "Epic", up for a vote, or have been suggested multiple times with good merit as to not waste this usage.

Sending questions about suggestions that have been deemed "NGTH" is not the purpose of this, but more to advance discussion with the dev and the like on those suggestions that many of us have questioned "why hasn't this happened yet?"
