You almost always get better bang for your buck by using Bonus Tokens on either Advanced Equipment or on Enhanced Training. The exceptions to this are exceedingly rare.

i usually spend 15 bonus tokens for one skills point but i'm going to change my way of doin'...
Morale boost is a terrible use of BT.
There can be value in trading in for skill points but it shouldn't be done often usually early in the build.

If you're following the build plan where you spend 15 BT before boosting to cap your first attribute, that's one of the few times some consider it worthwhile.

Enhancing training is worthwhile. If you're not enhancing your first 3 attributes as you can, you'll fall behind in your builds. Usually you'll be enhancing training during your first season.
After that, AEQ becomes priority. Figure out what AEQ you want (3 or 4 pieces and what you want them to be) and budget as if you're going to build them. I usually tack on an additional 45 BT to my budget to give room to roll once you've reached level 41.

Yea, that is exactly one of the rare occasions I would do it (and I do on every new dot I build now)
It is creation season..before boosting to level 2.
May possibly be another occasion when in the teen levels where I might spend 15 BT for 1 SP if it helps me past a attribute cap right before a natural level up, but that is very rare when I would even consider it.

Yep. It has to be first, maybe second season. It can be especially valuable during the first season while ALGs are highest. Another reason to not do it after the 1st season is the BT budget. You have plenty of time to adjust your plans if you blow some BT early. If you wait, though, you'll end up with incomplete AEQ.

Also depends on the position and whether you want 3 or 4 AEQ. Take a Punter or Kicker, for instance. If you know you're not gonna need 1500+ BT's, you may as well spend them early to hit caps sooner.

Yes. What you're looking for is AEQ. You use BT's to purchase by either building, or rolling, for these items. They replace your current Free Equipment and come with bonuses to skills as well as certain play making abilities and/or Special Abilities (or SA's for short). You'll want to do some research in the forums and such (ask your team you play for as well... post a question there for help) to find out what pieces are good for your dot and what to avoid.
As for spending BT's on permanent bonuses, it's something you really shouldn't have to do until the very end of a build (around level 79) when you've already gotten and enhanced all the AEQ you're going to get and have nothing left to spent your BT's on. Then, perhaps, it's time to address that question as to how to spend them (your extra BT's).
