Only the shotgun formation has a HB draw play.

Without a draw it seems a lot of defenses are just crowding the line with the LB and DE just rolling left or right (depending on what side they are on) as soon as the ball is snapped to stop the sweep. very unrealistic. A dive slam or off tackle happens to fast.

Just about every formation should have a draw play to keep defenses honest.

The draw play is the worst play in the game. No thanks.

Going backwards 8 yards just to gain 7... Total net gain of -1 yards... what's not to like?

This.

Football likes draws at times. GLB hates em. Something in the design does not let it work.

It is the timing of it. The play takes too long. You don't want slow working run plays in GLB because penetration happens very easily and there isn't really a lot of logic in the pickup of defenders. Currently the HB Draw's only merit out of SG is if a DC is using a 3 man line and sending the LDE out in the flat.

a lot of DC are sending the L and R DE's out into the flats every down.
