Same here. Have used the QB spy for a while without problems (between the hashes like whodey said)
In rookie it might be a little different though, since they won't have much vision.

I stopped using spy like 10 seasons ago because the D dot would just stand around looking stupid if the rQB passed it
was not rookie level, semi-pro at most though
maybe it's time I give it a try again

I don't consider any QB who passes a rushing QB, I have different tags/plays for dual threats who also pass. I'm not sure how the spy would hold up against the pass.

Screens is what I refer to, but like I said its been 10 seasons since I even bothered trying to use it
But I still usually try and cover all possible bases even when scouting shows tey never throw

Screens can be covered by DBs while LBs spy if you're worried about screen passes. To each his own. If it ain't broke don't fix it
