Then you'll need 2 SPs to gain 1 speed. So you do not assign until you can reach it to 60.52 (when it costs 3). That way you can train your attribute and use the ALGs.

Yeah thats what I planned on doing. I had to use the initial SP to get contract offers though. Or is there some way around that that I missed

Don't worry about stats until you hit like lvl 30'ish. Most new players start on CPU teams, just like yourself, and because everyone should be slow-building their main primaries, every player's impact is stunted at the beginning.

Yeah I wanted to slowbuild. I believe slowbuilding is basically using training to maximize your stats and saving SP correct? Focus on your one main attribute to make the best use out of ALG's. I was going to soft cap my speed first at the second level when it starts to require 3sp's then begining mult training my Agility, Catching and Vision. I probably messed up that strat somehow but thats what I was going to do.

Just try to ignore it, you really need to focus on speed.

If it is really a problem contact your OC and tell him to give you better routes with better opportunities,
your bread and butter right now are uncontested catches.

What????? Don't spread your wrong illusion, go to read Archetype thread again!!

Wide Receiver

Speedster
A speedster receiver is unrivaled when it comes to speed at the WR position. He makes his living flying by his man on streak routes or leaving defenders in the dust after a quick cut. However, he does not have the greatest hands, and may find the ball being picked off by defenders with better jumping abilities.
5'8" - 6'2", 175-215 Lbs
Major Attributes: Agility, Catching, Confidence, Speed, Vision (+.4)
Minor Attributes: Carrying, Jumping, Stamina (+.33)
Favored Special Abilities: First Step, Quick Cut
Penalized Special Abilities: Route Running, Sticky Hands

How long were you gone? Slowbuilding died a long time ago. No, you do not have to apply SP to get offers. I am not sure why they said D42. Any time from D40 to D48 is the same.

Slow-building is dead. Don't slow-build.

CAP-building, however, is very much alive and is pretty much the only way to go now.

And no, slow-building and cap-building are NOT the same thing.

I lied. Possession and Speedster's both have catching as majors.

sorry

yes..though you will want to train speed up to at least 81 and probably a cap or two past that before you start working on anything else
