If I tag a HB as 'Rusher' and he is in at the QB position, my 'Rusher' QB inputs will fire, right?

You are labeling that player,
Not the position.

If you are worried about a rushing player being in at QB, the easiest thing to do is tag the passing QBs with a passing label. If the "passing" tag check comes back false, then you know that you aren't dealing with a passing QB. This should take care of situations where you've either got a scrambling QB in, or anything else in at QB.

Example:

A team has a pocket passing QB, a Deep Passing QB, and a Scrambling QB who only throws screens, hands the ball off, or runs.

You tag the first two as "passer" and you can leave the third untagged or you can have a special tag for rushing QBs (most teams do).

Then in your AI you have:

1. Rushing QB tagged plays
2. Passing QB tagged plays
3. Untagged QB plays.

Obviously within that you have subsets like:

1. Rushing QB tagged plays:
a. (Formation) (Tag on RB) (Tag on TEs) (Tag on FB)
b. Ibid.
c. Ibid.
2. Passing QB tagged plays:
a. (Formation) (Tag on RB) (Tag on TEs) (Tag on FB)
b. Ibid.
c. Ibid.
3. Untagged QB plays
a. (Formation) (Tag on RB) (Tag on TEs) (Tag on FB)
b. Ibid.
c. Ibid.

And within those you may have short yardage, medium yardage, and long yardage plays and plays that only happen when you are up and plays that only happen when you are down, each with their own tag and sub tag.

And Catch and Bort wondered why they got so few DAIs submitted when they wouldn't let us use packages.

Not that hard to understands if you open a DAl.
He gave really good advices to all those who would like to become DC.

DAl works from top to bottom. So you set your

1. Rushing QB Inputs
- Goalline rushing QB
- Big I Rushign QB
- I-Form rushing QB
- and all others formations

You also need to make inputs for your RBs tag, TEs tag.
If the Blocking TE is on the field you won't use a CB to cover him.

2. passing QB

3. no tag QB. so if a player playing at the QB position isnt the rusher, isnt the passer, these are the plays that will be used.
