when you put a number into the ai for field goal max range is that the line of scrimmage or is it the length of the field goal?

The length of the FG, so you want to take the LOS + 17 yards.

just put it as an input in your AI. much easier and a hell of a lot better since theres certain times where you go for a longer one or a shorter one.

That's what I do. The AI inputs work just fine for me for setting up FGs.

Given the confusion (and the full-out bugs) surrounding that FG range box, I've never understood why people continue to try to use it. Yeah, just using your AI inputs to determine when to kick FGs means you can only set your FG range in 5-yard blocks, but does that really make that big of a difference? I have never thought to myself, "Man, I wish I could set it so that I'll attempt 53-yard FGs but NOT 54-yard FGs!"

Of course, in Casual, you have no choice but to use it, so I still wish Bort would clarify the wording on that box. But still, I'll never get why people in Regular insist on using that box too, especially if they don't understand the description.
