ILBs can move out about half a dot-length wider than before, but you could always position OLBs inside the ILBs if you wanted to.

ok, i guess what i should have said is that the ILBs can
definitely move a bit further outside than they could before
but i can't say for sure if you could cross the OLB/ILB before the change-
becuz none of our plays out of 100s has them inverted.

it seemed to me that at least one play out of all those
would have them inverted, if it had been possible before,
especially as i in particular am always trying to do things differently.
but come to think of it, maybe it did never get attempted by us;
basically our problem has always been OLBs can't get wide enough.
so i must be wrong about that part, you could already cross them
if its useful for you to do so, which it wasn't for us? but you can def
put the ILBs a bit wider than you could before... but then they can't blitz

the OLBs in general seem to have a lot more range in starting position
so long as they aren't blitzing, which makes it almost worthless for us
since we use the 3-4 and basically blitz OLBs like DEs.
