So in the write up for the SA Return Specialist it's talks about how important it is for CBs that are setup to be returners. I noticed that if you created a WR that's a returner (because that's just the kind of guy you are) that Return Specialist pops up as an option for extra special ability. So does the Return Specialist SA only work for CBs? Does it work for all returners? How many times has this question been asked? Are things really only funnier in threes and not fours?

My guys swear by it. But danged if I could show you a comparison between a returner dot WITH RS and one without it... because I've never seen a returner without it. Still, it should apply to ANY dot with the SA who is returning punts or kicks. It's why some are switching out from the Returner Archetype to using an elusive back with the RS SA. I'm even going to give it a whirl next returner build.

All that said, if it's true that an elusive back archetype using the RS SA works BETTER than using a returner archetype, then that really sucks cuz it makes that archetype completely obsolete. GLB should look into that cuz that's a hole in their game.

Anyone who uses the returner archetype on a HB is an idiot. Of course the elusive archetype is better. 4 majors over 5 is a huge advantage.

The returner archetype has it's purpose for CBs (those not wanting to pay for the glamour position).

WR returner --> for people using a free dot with HB unavailable this is better than CB
CB returner

Then why even offer it as a archetype??? That makes absolutely no sense at all. No wonder the nubes get confused as hell about this game.
