San Jose… There’s no place like home. Especially for the San Jose Chupacabra, who returned home to drub the visiting Fresno Fire 30-10.

The San Jose offense, who formerly looked lost against the OKC Spartans, exploded for 400 yards of offense in the win, much to the delight of the hometown fans.

“After the game against the Spartans, we all sat down and figured out what we gotta do to make this offense click. The results on the scoreboard,” said wideout Cleat Racker.

The victory was the first with new offensive assistant Kintner on the sidelines. Kintner has flown under the radar for many years as a coach with a flair for offense and bringing quarterbacks to the next level.

“This offense has all the tools,” said Kintner, “We just needed to bring it together. I think this is the start of a new age in Chupacabra football.”

San Jose’s offense came out fired up and referees were forced to break up several on-field shoving matches between the Chupacabra offensive linemen and defenders. In one incident, guard Troy Hunter pancaked an opposing defensive tackle and was confronted after the play. Hunter ripped the helmet off of the unidentified Fresno player and delivered several blows to the face of the opponent.

“This offense is taking no more (expletive),” said Hunter after the game, “If you want to be a (expletive) and get in our (expletive)-ing face, we’re going to knock you the (expletive) out. Chupacabra football IS smashmouth football.”

League spokesman Spinner McSkew had no comment on whether or not Hunter would face league discipline.
