Forum > FAQ's, Player Guides and Newbie Help > i created a player yesterday. can i boost him this season and be able to boost him after this season.
No. You only get 3 boosts per season. You will be able to boost again as soon as day -8 of next season.

Retire it or your player will be screwed up age wise.
To explain what he said, as he didn't explain:
Rookie league teams can only sign players who were created on or after day 40, meaning they are 0 days old.
So if you want to play on a rookie team in season 34, you need to retire the player you just made and re-create him between day 40 and 48.

You can mess with the dot for a few days and still retire him (as long as you don't sign contract to a human team, if CPU owned you can retire at any time)
Rebuild day 40-47 for the reasons stated above in this thread

Yup, both of them are right; Make him as soon as possible though (after day 40 starts) That way he'll get more from training

Not true. You will get retroactive (not sure if that is the right word for this) training points that date back to tonight's rollover if you create anytime between day 40 and day 0, until they gain EXP.
For example, you get 8 training points upon creating..and 2 training points every night after that.
If you create on day 48, you will get the 8 training points from creating, plus all the nightly training points you would have gained dating back to day 40 rollover to day 41. So you would get 24 training points upon creation.

Seconded.

Should probably be noted that "yesterday" was Day 38 when the OP started this thread.
Now that we're past Day 40, yes, you can create a dot right now, boost him on Day 48 of this season, and you'll be able to boost him next season after Season 33 rolls over to Season 34.
