It's the stupid lolpeewee crap that has hijacked nearly every thread and suggestion that has to do with peewee. I thought the user base had matured a bit and were more tolerant of agents that like a different style of gameplay.

You forgot the "and just because you don't like, don't mean it ain't no good" part.

I don't think peewee is a joke. I think the league set up in peewee is a joke. I think gold/silver/copper is really unnecessary at this point. Just fill up leagues until there aren't any human owned teams left and get rid of the rest of the leagues. Then sit back and enjoy the return of all the PW tourneys.

That would kind of kill the noob friendly part. That set up would help the competitive part. It's just there are so few users. When I bought my first peewee team there were 16 mostly human filled copper leagues. Could contract silver to two leagues now. Without users there just doesn't seem to be any great options.

Pee Wee was a good concept, but it gets old. Rebuilding your players every season takes a long time and you have to make so many adjustments because your team will do very different things between level 1 and 16.

There are some people who have honed it and gotten very good, which is an accomplishment. Winning in Gold takes a lot of skill (or it used to, I haven't done much with Pee Wee in the last four or five seasons).

The learning curve used to very steep. A team that went 16-0 in copper wouldn't necessarily make playoffs in Silver and a team that won Silver wouldn't necessarily make playoffs in Gold. I don't know if that is still the case, I've heard that Silver is a bit more of a wasteland these days.

If you don't want to commit to a team of dots for multiple seasons, I suggest staying in Pee Wee and learning that game (it is a different game). If you just don't want to spend the money on boosting, there is a very strong underground league presence in the minor leagues. The cost of player creation is fully refundable, so your only sunk cost is the onetime flex purchase and then your scrims and team ownership renewals.

It really depends on what you are looking for. A lot of people see GLB as dead, but it is just a lot more layered now than it used to be. Pee Wee GSB, Minor Leagues, underground minor leagues, casual leagues, farm teams, Reg Pro Old Timers, the Elite leagues, The Pros, and the WL.

Nah, the userbase has dwindled down dramatically. There are about 6000 less teams now than back in the day and still a shitload of CPUs out there.

Yeah, but there's still lots of good dotball being played.

Being in a silver conference with one other human owner team with 50-55 human agents just about sums up pee wee.
