The VA bonus limitation is completely isolated from any bonuses you get from AEQ.

Just for clarity, it is not a 75% chance to deflect a ball. You will not get a deflection 3 out of 4 pass attempts over your DT. It is a 75% increase in your chance. Thus, if your chance do deflect before the VA is 10%, then after it the chance is 17.5%.
