Yep, as long as you put in a request. The league demotion request thinger appears on a team profile on D33.

When ownership is transferred agents should be given 3 days to release or retire their dot if they so choose after the team changes hands. When it comes down to it I sign with owners, not teams.

If I am not mistaken the reason alot of teams aren't for sale right now is the teams are in the playoffs possibly. the freeze was put in place to keep people from buying the teams and getting cheap trophies. but I may be wrong on that so don't hold me to it. I was thinking I read it somewhere last season.

this is what i do. you can name the team and start recruiting for the team and just have it demoted to rookie. Its more of a safe bet just incase you miss the teams being available.

Not that I am gonna try and do it
