Just a question

When I boosted my player 3x, he received 60 skill pts (20 per lvl i would assume). However, when he went from 4-5, he only got 5 skill pts. Is there an equation to the amount of pts I should get per level, since Im somewhat confused

You get 5 per level that you gain from nightly / game XP and 6 per level from boosting. I'm not sure how you got 60 skill points. I think you had 42 of those prior to boosting and perhaps did not realize it.

leveling up off of game/daily xp gives 5 SP. using a boost to level grants 6 SP.

are you sure you got 60 SP for 3 boosts? supposed to get 18 total

When you level up naturally, you get 5 skill points per level.

When you boost, you get 6 skill points per level, which provides an incentive to buy Flex Points so you can boost.

You also start out with a bunch of skill points at player creation, so you didn't receive 60 skill points from boosting... you got 18 skill points from boosting, plus whatever skill points you hadn't already spent from player-creation, for a total of 60.

EDIT: Although... as someone else pointed out, 60 - 18 = 42. And I know for a fact you don't get 42 Skill Points to spend when you create a player.

Are you looking at the wrong number somewhere? Or perhaps mis-remembering a number?

I remember saving some points since I just missed a cap, then boosted to get to the cap. Mustve been 42 pts.

If you look at his dot... He doesn't have any additional XP that would prove that he has an extra amount of SP outside the normal. So, it's just SP not spent and 18 additional from boosting...

you probably had not spent some of the initial points it gives u after character creation im thinkin

I will note, when you hit your 25th boost you will receive 20 bonus SP. That's a long way away, though.
