i asked bort in the QnA...he said its just a vision check. That being said i did have 60 confidence and there was a season where i had HOAC and HTH and still it was worse than other teams.

I like false starts, it prevents teams from using slam ball as their only offense. Forces teams to pass and defenses to counter. I mostly only do offense so you would think I would be against it but if they come during slam ball, I am all for it.

Why should offenses be forced to do anything other than what the opponent's defense forces them to do? Slam ball really doesn't work. The sim is balanced enough that you can stuff it enough. Sure you can control the clock but that is what power football is. You just can not score enough playing slam ball because you still get into a third and medium or long and have to pass, what is wrong with that? You need to mix things up, you can not just pass every down and score everytime either. It should be about Xs and Os if you can't stop inside runs then maybe you need to adjust your defense, tag better, not just build cover LBs. LBs and DBs have low strength and tackling then you deserve to get run over. Most PW teams have the same builds for LBs, CBs, and safeties. I don't understand why Bort should bail these teams out so everyone can continue with boring cookie cutter defensive builds.
If you build a power running team you should be good at it. If you build a passing offense you should be good at it. If you only build pass stopping defenders then well. It is stupid to build only speed/agility dots on defense and expect Bort to bail you out.

Bort doesn't bail the defense out, bad builds do that. You have 1 false start in 2 games. False starts only happen in preseason on good teams. They usually are gone by game 1 after all skill points and some training has progressed.
BTW stopping inside runs have nothing to do with builds. You can have strength Lbs and defensive line all strength and tackling and they still can't stop it. The way to stop it is with a timed blitzing player and LB spacing. I'm sure there is math in it somewhere but at least that is what I have noticed. Without false starts SAs and a few key factors are meaningless. Without false starts everyone would go back to season 8 and 12 which is very boring. Just build a power game and run Big I all game long with some I slams and Dives thrown in for good measure.
