it lookede like the Speed were starting of strong with a great kickoff return but in their first play they turn it over

the Stallions stoped the Speed and they decided to punt over a 55 yard feild goal atempt

but Denver would punt it right back after failing to pick up the first here

next Richond would have a drive that Denver couldn't stop til they were within field goal range as they hit a 41.5 yard field to tie it up at three a piece

a great return by Denver gets them good field position witch the Stallion went pass happy going 3/5 and had to punt

Richmond next looked like they might go 3 and out thier O-line said HELL NO

after 3 and outs by both teams Richmond starts out with 2 imcompletions but then fire on 2 big plays

to open up the 2nd half the first 3 drives ended with punts and the Stallions finally got in field goal range and missed a 42 yarder

then the Speed would get in field goal range and hit a 47.5 yarder 16-6

then 3 three and outs the Speed had the ball at the thier 42.5 and and dump pass to Peter Alexis but was hit by Denver FS Matt Fencik to create Richmond 3rd turnover

they would squander this and go 3 and out but richmond commits it's 4th turnover on thier next drive here

the kick sends the home crowd to go home happy for the FIRST time in the Denver Stallions history. and with that win the Stallions gives us a better record than all of last year

after the game in the Stallions locker room we caught up with with both of thier QBs

reporter: well both of you played great, what really helped you out today

Drew: well the whole team pitched in thier D-Line was very good and they didn't a sack as well as the receivers were getting open

reporter: Korey how did you pull of that clutch drive

Korey: how is it like any other drive? just because it scored the game tieing TD doesn't mean it's any like any other

i'm disappointed that your recap didn't include bush rollins key 3rd and 1 stop for no gain to keep the stallions from getting a 1st down just outside fg range
