This is an extremely dumb question but I was curious
Would low vision on the Dline give a boost to the HB Direct Snap play. Like if they have low vision, the ball would be snapped to the HB but they "didn't see it" and think that the ball went to the QB.

It would just be like any other run play.....they either pass the vision check or they don't.

And worse. If they fail the original vision check to see if the HB or QB has the ball, then they're likely to fail a second vision check required to REALIZE the HB has the ball (after they realize the QB does NOT have the ball) and change directions from sacking said QB to catching the HB. (At least I've been told there's usually more than one vision check in any given play.)

I think this is a good question, though

I'm actually stunned at the fact that there is a HB direct snap in GLB's playbook, I never knew that

There is only 1 play and it runs it right up the gut where 9 out of 10 times it goes for a few yard gain.

In short, it's crap.
