Light, Normal or Intense? Do you find that the extra bonus tokens are worth the loss in training %?

Intense is usually the way to go until you start multi-training. And then once you start multi-training you should keep track of how many BTs you need for your AEQ and start light training to earn that certain amount of BTs before you stop getting TPs.

A simple method is to start with intense, then shift to 4-way multi-training when your first attribute is near ~68. Once you get towards 200 days in age, figure out if you are going with 3 or 4 AEQ pieces and when you'll need to switch to light training for the rest of the way.

I think maybe waiting until 200 days old to figure out if 3 or 4 AEQ may be too late if going for 4 pieces. But that's just my initial thought and I am often mistaken. I usually start trying to plan around lvl 54, figure BT's with remaining days left till age 281 and then decide when I need to switch to light depending on if 3 or 4 prices of AEQ. Some positions (like WR) are really tough to roll for.

200 and 4 pieces requires INSANE luck... I'd advise doing it much earlier if you didn't get lucky with the rolling for pieces...

I never pay attention to what age or level my dot is when going for AEQ. I use a simple formula... it costs 30 BT's for each upgrade to a piece... and the initial cost of the piece. If my regular EQ is already at +5 per piece, then I need 150 BT's at least to start with. Once I have the BT's I need, I roll. (about 3 to 5 times tops). I usually get a +3 or a 5% piece in that time and then pay for whatever other bonus I want... and boost the piece to the max. Now I know how old my player is... and what level he is... and how much BT's I need to get 2 or 3 more AEQ's maxed out... and I go from there. Have never had an issue with not making it (getting the # of AEQ I want) yet.

So you must pay attention cause I doubt you would roll sooner

Sorry dude. I was just chucking numbers. Seriously though... I don't pay attention to my dot's level when considering AEQ. I either have enough BT's to trick out a piece (comparable to my current EQ status)... or I don't. If I don't, then I keep going til I do. THEN I check out where I am with regards to the dot's age/level... and, from there, I plan out the rest of his AEQ. Reason is I just don't know how lucky (or unlucky) I'll be when rolling for a piece. When I'm lucky, daddy gets 4 AEQ with all the bells and whistles. When the lottery butt-****'s me and wrecks my day, I can still get 3 fully tricked out pieces and use the extra BT's for SP's come plateau time.
