The problem is most of the people heading over to casual have never won rings, so they aren't really following hali

RIP NiborRis. That's what I always complained about regarding his ranking as well. It favors teams not playing in scrimmages, tournaments, etc.

Agreed. If you enter a tournament, for instance, you tend to lose spots in the rankings unless you completely dominate it.

Which is especially bad if the tourney is a tough one, I ran a tournament last season in Prep that caused the "-1" in two different teams season records, they ended up being #1 and #2 in the prep rankings anyway, but the next best ranking of a team in the tourney was tied for 10th, behind a bunch of teams in non-comp leagues that didn't participate in any tourneys.
