I have built a few SS's some good some not so good. From what I can tell from all the build changes over the seasons, the HH SS doesn't get what they deserve from high str/tkl. I see many agents with HH archtypes and all the power/fumble VA, SA, and they still have a hard time with getting fumbles to fire in a sim.
So I thought I would do something maybe a little different with my HH. I noticed most HH builds, don't take advantage of the need for speed for FF's. The definition implies that fumbles are caused when the hitter makes contact with the ball carrier after coming in at full speed.
The problem I see with SS builds having 90 in str/tkl and 150 speed is, they have very little agi/vis, so the ball carriers with high car/ agi and spin/juke VA's and don't fumble SA's don't give those HH's a clean powerful hit to knock the ball loose.
My SS will end up eventually with about 80 str/tkl before it is all said and done. While not huge, 80 is a respectable number if the SS has the speed and agility and vision to come in at full speed to make the hit. I have never seen it so hard to cause a fumble as I have in the last few seasons.
Even at the very least, if he is unsuccessful with fumbles, he will still make the TD saving tackles and have enough speed, vision, agility to maybe even play the pass decently. All non trolling opinions appreciated.
