can I create a player now for next season ?

any benefit ? why is day 40 creation day ?

You have create on day 40 because they don't age in the offseason and you have to be an age of 0 to begin the next season in a rookie league. If you created now he would be 2 days old and not able to sign to a rookie league next season.

I'd wait 'til Day 41. There've been issues and differences in the past between dots created on Day 40 and dots created on Day 41 thanks to Bort or Catch making changes to the game later. But either way, under the current system, you'll get the same number of Training Points anyway whether you create on Day 40 or Day 41.

Probably won't ever matter anyway, since I doubt Bort or Catch will be making any more of such major changes in the future now that we're out of Beta. (Ha!) But I'm just paranoid enough myself to wait until Day 41, juuuuuuuuuust in case.

Plus, Day 40 is Thanksgiving anyway. Who the fuck wants to be making dots on Thanksgiving?

Maybe if you created your dot on day 40 and then when Bort makes those changes your dot won't suck as much
