that means that the players listed in the MVP race are in order, i.e. whoever is top after game 16 will get it?

ONLY if they are still in the league. i lost my 1st 2 MVP trophies when i retired them prior to the trophies being handed out.

they award MVP usually in mid-November, and even though MVP stands for Most Valuable Player, it really should be called "Most Known Player on a Team that Made the Playoffs"

I just doubled my MVP total from 2 to 4 so the system is still new to me.
