So.. I wasn't sure on this..if I am using an offensive advanced AI does it matter what I have set in basic offense? For instance... If have set run to 40% and pass to 60%... is the AI actually going to use that split or will it go purely off my advanced AI plays and the % chance of them running?

The only time your basic settings will come into play is if
a) You have a hole in your AI where a situation isn't covered.
b) There's a part where it says 'Use basic settings' in your AI, particularly which occurs when deciding to have a FB/TE stay in to block or run a route.
As a rule of thumb, Advanced AI takes priority over basic tactics.
