is this a result of hurries or what? idk why that pass is thrown so far off the receiver he does that alot lately.

At such an early level you want more short passes/crossing passes that will help cut down on that.

You can set it to Conservative Throw Away, Aggressive Throw Away, or just normal. You seemed to be on normal. Also whodey, would the slider:

Open Man -----------------|----------------- Wait For Route To Finish

or whatever it is come into effect here? If he waits for the WR to finish his route and he isn't open would he throw it away?

Yes....open man setting combined with throw away setting can lead to "thrown away" passes which is part of my answer when I said QB tactics come into play
