There should just be a default in game based off what throw the QB is throwing, a QB shouldn't be putting air under a drag route across the middle or a hook or slant. Also a QB shouldn't be trying to rifle a bullet in one a 50 yard pass down the field to a WR that is behind the defensive back. There really is no reason to have the passing slider for QBs.

Dis idea is just grate.

I want to agree, but dare I say that removing the slider could open "Pandora's Box" on the offensive downslide, and basically make this game so unplayable that everyone would simply find or create 160 strength HBs and FBs and use a QB sneak to bulldoze their way to wins.

On the other hand, they have poked and prodded at the QB and passing offense season after season, and not in attempts to make it better.

You think they will do so now?

Every tactic is like that though. You shouldn't be set to run block on 3rd and 15. You shouldn't be set to pass block on 4th and inches. You shouldn't be on bullet pass for a hail mary. You shouldn't be on lofty pass for a quick slant.

You pick a tactic and your stuck with it for every situation that may arise. Either remove all the tactics and allow a default setting for every situation or leave the tactics so we can all suffer together
