The main reason would be so you can copy and paste your tactics to show your coach or coordinator what your doing. It would help for people with multiple players to show their tactics quickly and easily.
Now granted a drop down that would allow different people to view your tactics would be better but I think that has been suggested a million times and nothing ever happened.
