Some positions have great depth and don't want to force starters on 3rd/4th down but other positions you have crappy depth and want to force starters at those positions.

Allow us to choose which position we can force a starter.

This is one of those "options" that would quickly become mandatory and part of coordinating would be setting it up for 30 different slots.

So we should get rid of AI's because that's just an option for a coordinator to use. We should get rid of "packages" because that's just an option for a coordinator to use too. We should get rid of custom slots because those are just options too.

Every coordinator could leave it "as is" if they don't want to use it. A ton of coordinators don't use "force starters" now but its an "option" for those that do want to use it. I would merely like to have the option of choosing my SS to be forced to start while not having my entire Dline or LB's being forced to start.

They are called "options" because you don't have to use it if you don't want to.

But if you want your team to be good, you have to make use of all your options. Is it possible that we have enough options? Could there be a point between no options and all the options that is best for the game? What if there were some options that make the game better and some that don't?

I guess my first reply could be wrong and this could be one of those options that is meaningless because there's no reason to not force starters on 3rd down and you can use energy settings to manage snaps.

The same principle applies to the AI "option" and the custom slot "option" and the "option" to use packages. My suggestion is simply for an "option" as well. The AI is just an option for a coordinator and if you choose to use it than it takes days to weeks to set up but you don't have to use it. The option I am suggesting would simply leave things the way they are by default but if a coordinator wishes to force certain positions to start and not the entire defense or offense than a coordinator has the option to pick which position he want to force to start.

I truly don't understand the issue behind having the option to pick certain positions to be forced to start versus forcing the entire defense or entire offense to start?
