I do think that if someone is near the HB that they should still get dinged with the reception allowed. Being 3+ yards away while being engaged by blockers just isn't fair though lol


I know, I just want to know if a defender got past the blockers how close would he need to be for it to be counted? I'm sure they could code this...

I would just take all screen pass plays out of the Rec Allowed category. You can still get a PD but you wouldnt be penalized for allowing a catch. Any catch behind the line of scrimmage would be out.
