I know screens have funky coding, so I am wondering how my did this other than closing speed? He's 2 yards or less from the receiver before the guy even catches it.

Closing speed only works after the reception, even in screens.

As to how your LB did "this", first you have to tell us what is "this" as that replay has nothing of special or particular... All I see is a player reading a play.

agility/vision/tagged/called to cover in CDP....not closing speed...nice play though

I'd say that looks like SV firing, but it is of course impossible to prove that. Either way, Vision was heavily involved in making that happen

That's the effect of an early passed vision check (see vision + Superior Vision) and then your speed/agility getting you going in the right direction with momentum.
