I'm sure if someone built a WR like a power FB with triple digit strength and also high carry, stacked BT% gear, and then Spin on top of all of that, the broken tackle percentage you're talking about would be better.

Better, but still much lower than it is for a FB who runs the ball. We're not sure why that is, although momentum seems to be the popular theory. My point was that slapping Spin on a conventional WR will absolutely not break tackles more than once in a blue moon, even with Quick Feet and a piece of break tackle. Right now you're better off not chasing broken tackles at all as a receiver, whether at tight end or wideout.

I agree.

I'm sure it's by design (and unlikely to change) just because of how devastating it would be. One broken tackle by a WR would most likely be a huge play. A RB might break 2 or 3 tackles and only gain a few yards.

I'm sure if there was a way to track Yards after Contact, the disparity wouldn't seem so unfair. The 1 time a WR breaks a tackle but goes 70 yards might equate to the 35 times a RB breaks a tackle to get 2 extra yards.

but the point remains that the "power" component of power receiver has almost nothing to do with breaking tackles as a WR, and breaking tackles works just as well as with any other archetype--which is poorly.

It used to be that way. Ministry of Dotball crushed my defense with their break tackle WRs back in the sTeens.

That's simply not true. WRs & TEs built with high strength & carrying are the only ones who can break tackles any significant percentage of the time, it's just not often enough to be a worthwhile build plan for this particular sim.
