I'm having a problem with using Offensive Packages in my AI. It's telling me:

'This AI contains play or packages that are unavailable or invalid in this context'

How can I fix this? Thanks.

Yeah, but it's all of them (except for my Punt and FG outputs). So I can't keep them? There has to be a way to change the packages to make them valid.

It sounds like you might have a play or plays selected in your AI that arent in your offensive playbook. Go edit your playbook and add all the plays into your playbook for all formations and you shouldnt have an issue......I think.

Thank you, this is most likely the problem

Nope, still getting a red (!) next to my inputs & outputs. This set works for one team that I originally made it on, but not for the other. I'm going to try a test to see if maybe it's a bug.

EDIT: Tested the AI and it's working properly for me, so I guess I'll see what happens on gameday.

If you copied the AI from one team to another than the packages don't transfer with them. You have to manually re-install each and every package. Real pain in the ass!!

So I need to delete the AI, redo the AI, and put in the packages again? I did transfer packages to My Packages and then to Team Packages. Do I need to redo the packages or should they be good?

You have to re-install the packages into the AI that was copied/

Example:

You have Team A with an AI and custom packages installed into that AI.

You copy the AI from Team A to Team B. You have to manually re-install each and every package into the Team B's AI.


Why? It has to do with the plays being assigned an "ID#". When you copy AI's and copy packages they receive a new "ID#" and thus you have to reinstall those so the AI can read the new "ID#".

A real pain in the ass!!

I run two teams and I use the same Ai and same plays for both teams. Any changes I make affect both teams because I refuse to spend the 2 hours manually re-installing every freaking package (offense and defense)

I just do offense, but if I had to that twice as many times I would just quit

Thought about it many times and still am. I can't believe I pay money to feel like I am working a part time job.
