Sure this has been suggested before in some form, but just in case...

Its really rather annoying to have to adjust the team needs whenever sending an offer to a STOP player, and its also aggravating that when doing so you open yourself to accidently signing an extra player at that position who is not intending to be a STOP (when, say, you have two offers out for SSs in the rotation only wanting the first one who accepts but also want to offer a SS a STOP slot).

Add SLOT to the team needs lists and limits as a separate line below the positions.

Add to the Contract Offer Page a check box for X STOP ONLY and that information will then compare the offer to your team needs for allowing the contract to be sent, accepted and for incrementing the values on the Team Needs list.

This would make things much easier and effective.

so do you have to designate an offer as an offer to a STOP since not all STOPs use the STOP archetype?

or is it just for STOP archetypes?

good questions

This would be something you would have to actively do for an offer to any archetype and could do to all. So if you want to send an offer to a center of any archtype - stop run or pass - and want it to only count against your STOP team needs, you would check the STOP box to mark the offer and the team needs accordingly.

Could be more automated than that but the idea is to keep it simple and flexible.
