1) to answer the question... in this case, we had the PF before buying the team during preparations and lots of stuff is already at the PF... the team forum has 1 post and its a link to the PF. next to every player on everyone's homepage and on the team page there are links to a forum not being used, so for me it would be easier to have a direct link to the PF to save time.
2) but also (gimme a minute to get my soapbox out) what does it matter why? if I'd rather use the PF than the TF then why not? GLB should be making customer experiences easier and better and catering to the customer... I paid for a team and I paid for a PF, it should be up to me how I use those

Completely agree but why not simply be able to ADD your PF to the available "links" from the team page? This would keep the TF intact but allow personalization without complication... I think.

Besides the obvious issue of people linking to non-GLB websites (a.k.a. pron or info mining sites), why don't you just post a link to the PF you want in the owner's note section of the team page? Whomever has access can click on the link and it'll work, and whomever doesn't, can't.
As this ability already exists, all your suggestion would do is eliminate one click (from player to team page).

Besides the obvious issue of people linking to non-GLB websites (a.k.a. pron or info mining sites), why don't you just post a link to the PF you want in the owner's note section of the team page? Whomever has access can click on the link and it'll work, and whomever doesn't, can't.
As this ability already exists, all your suggestion would do is eliminate one click (from player to team page).
