Also, why are there more competitive leagues than there are normal leagues?

Shouldn't the structure have been to take the top 32 teams from the five rookie leagues and put them in elite, then take the next 64 teams and put them in competitive, and then take the remainder and put them in noncompetitive?

Is this the way it has always been?

Competitive feeds Elite, and Normal feeds Competitive. Since all Rookie leagues are Normal, then the playoff teams from those Normal leagues would go into Competitive leagues.

It has been this way for several seasons at least.

looking at the prep conferences, it certainly doesn't appear that they were sorted as Plankton posted.

there is a 16-0 team and a couple 12-4s in the lowest league (Prep #5) and a few 7-9 teams in the top (Prep Comp #1)
There's also some non-boosted teams in comp leagues while boosted teams (much higher Eff Lvl) are in the non comp leagues.

there's also a team in Prep #5 with a level 38 WR... not sure how that happened.

you'd think leaving Beta would be time to FINALLY have a double sort of teams going into new leagues

Those teams are all CPU owned now. Wouldn't make sense to put a CPU team in competitive, regardless of their record the season before, would it?

the sorting should be done day -1 rather than day 41
