Much discussed is how to thank the GLB prioneers for fostering GLB along through the tough but speedy Beta process.
Here is my genius idea on how to do it significantly yet relatively cheaply.
With the announcement of the gift, lock in the CEQ on the dots of all active agents as "Permanent Transferable CEQ" (PTE call it).
CEQ bought after the announcement would be normal, any sold prior to the announcement would be gone, any on the dots of inactive agents at the time of the announcement would be normal even if they came back.
PTE would be transferable between the dots of the agent, and only his dots, at the time of dot retirement. So if he was retiring his Day 500 dot he could transfer it to anyone of his existing dots as a part of the retirement process. If the PTE is not transferred at retirement, it is lost. A Dot could only have one piece of PTE at a time (excepting those who are wearing multiple CEQ at the time PTE are created). So if you do not have a new dot without PTE at retirement you would not be able to transfer the PTE (this would foster dot creation).
I think its an eloquent way to go about things. Its a significant boon that is sure to be appreciated even if only a minor flex savings to the Beta Old Guard, its a savings that is scaled to the contribution of the agent (ie how many CEQ'd dots he has), and its a minor cost to Bort and one that pays back in terms of dot creation since it makes it more likely that the Old Guard will keep building dots in the future. And its a benefit that while real is not unbalancing to play.
The PTE CEQ in question should be changed in appearance to have some cool looking border and background, maybe gold or bronzed looking with trim. And maybe the name could be changed from Custom to something that denotes the awesomeness of the agent. So it also becomes a bragging right if anyone checks out his dots.
What say ye?
