75 point margin, I think.

I imagine it triggers after the game. If a team is up by 70 with an entire quarter to play, but finish the game only winning by 65, I don't think there are any blowout adjusted stats used

Blowout adjusted stats starts at 70 point difference.

Blowout throttling starts at 200 point difference. This is the point when the sim starts reducing the effectiveness of the winning team to cut down on games ending with 40 kick returns for TD's or whatever that make games run late.

It used to be less but people bitched so they increased it.

Do the stats you rack up before the 70 point margin count as raw stats?

I don't know about this, 75 points is 12+ TDs and I don't think returners get credit for 12 TDs when they run every kick back in a 255er.

I still think it only changes to blowout stats after a game has ended and the margin of victory was 70+.

if a team is leading by 70 , then give up a score and lead by 63, come back to take lead by 70 again, then give up another score.....ect ect (could happen if using some type of AI that was made for leads of 70+) how would it keep track of different stats at different times of the games that either where or where not adjusted do to the margin of winning at a certain time?

Seems like over complication.Originally posted by Fumanchuchu

12 X 7 is 84. 10 TDs (with successful XP's) would give you the 70 point blowout adjusted stats. If score ended at 255 point margin, then yea gonna be blowout adjusted stats. But if returner ran back 12 TD's and team led by 84 points, but then somehow only ended up winning the game by 67 I would expect him to get credit for every TD return.

I may be wrong but I may be right.

I concur

Yes, stats are only adjusted to "blowout adjusted" if the final score is 70+ points different.

It does not matter if you scored 30 TD's in the 1st half and then let them run in 29 TD in the 2nd half, your final stats will not be adjusted unless the final score is a difference of 70+.

no, once the game is over, all stats are recalculated via the adjustment %, if any. so the td to make it 7-0 gets adjusted the same as the td making it 214-0, etc
