I think this sim we have is way to offensive oriented. There is a rushing qb dot in a pee wee league that has 10000 rushing yards in one season. Is it me or is that crazy. Id also like to see alot more INT's in this game if you go down through the all time CB's they are almost all CB's that were made in seasons 1-15. Id like to eventually see a sim that is even where a good D could be just as deadly as a good O. Maybe its just me

The reason that dot has that many yards is because he is facing shit DCs and/or CPU teams.

I agree offense is a bit OP but your judging the sim off of pee-wee.. Most of us judge if off of pro/WL. rushing QBs are easier to stop if you have a DC that knows what they are doing..
Catch knows exactly what problems us users see and will hopefully get to fixing it this off-season

Problem is - and Catch22 said it clear and loud in some post I'm too lazy to take the time to find - that people want O and so O si dominant. basically, D is the red-headed step-child now. Nerfed to oblivion and OCs STILL complain about it - just look at Homages post on how lead passing is not good enough.

I don't mind if the O is getting stats as long as the D gets them as well. Unfortunately, the dev doesn't see it that way.
All or nothing.
All or nothing.

I dont think that blitzing needed to be nerfed, just make the hurry to bad throw ratio lower to penalize those teams that play 1 on 1 coverage with no help over top. So if the QB has time to hit that WR he can. Or make bad throws not like they are, for example, you can have a hurried throw but it can still be on target; but it can still be wobbly and slower making it easier to deflect.
If they would add a oline vision check instead that would be fine as well.

QBs shouldn't be able to complete these super long passes as easily though. Especially if they rifle them in there, because that means a lower trajectory level which should mean its much easier for DBs to deflect. Except in the sim it doesn't matter, even if double covered.
Single coverage deep isn't bad but i still think the completion percentage there is a tad high. When the completion % is similar in single coverage deep and short which route would OCs most likely go? They'd choose deep over short because deep has the reward there and a similar completion %
Just for the lolz i found a site that had stats from last seasons QBs showing an average deep % completion compared to short % completion
http://www.nflstatsblog.com/2011/11/deep-passes-are-twice-as-effective-as.html
The reason they say deep passes are more effective is because the total yards gained on catches.. When you look at the comp % its a whole different story.. The short pass comp% is comparable to GLB since 60% is about accurate for GLB too but deep passes are out of this world compared to the chart. Now im not saying we should copy this but this goes to show you that % completion should not be this close on GLB; even with help over the top. Look at last nights TNF game; Cutler barley attempted to throw to Marshall who had a safety over the top. The few times he did throw into that help it was either picked or deflected ect. In GLB QBs throw into double coverage or with a safety above the WR like its single coverage and still get similar results.
I just don't think there is that much of a risk vs. reward on the deep passes in GLB.
Disclaimer: Please don't think that I'm saying GLB should use the NFL stats that i posted ect for their grounds to base the pass game on.. Im just trying to compare the two (glb and nfl) to prove a point that deep passes don't involve much of a risk vs reward.
