Should I add skill points as I get them or hold on to them to get better training numbers?

There are probably differing points of view but generally i think it's advisable to hold onto your SP's until you can move an attribute to the next cap, starting with your most important attribute and moving down once you reach a point you want to stop. For many players this is speed.

So for example you would hold SP's until you can reach 48,61,68,73 etc and then when you have enough SP to move it to the next cap you would do so. once you get past that there are probably differing opinions, i've seen some say to circle cap your secondary attributes as you train them (cap whatever can be) and others would have you focus on one at a time (hold the SP till you can cap the same attribute to the stop point rather than splitting among 4 different ones).

How you reach a point where you would be close enough to cap a number can differ depending on how you train. There are other situations.

Others will be along, or may have even beaten me to the post, going into more detail most likely.

You hold onto skill points until you have enough to reach the next cap.

Example: Your speed is at 61 and you have 10 saved skill points. 10 points won't get you to the 68 cap so you hold on to them. You level up and now have 15 skill points. Still not enough to reach the 68 cap. Keep training and then when you level up again you will have enough to reach the 68 cap so spend just enough to reach the cap and rinse and repeat
