Cheers, only just refound my account after years away so made some new guys. Ill keep them where they are until season end, boost them then look for a ball club

Best bet is to use this season as a learning experience of getting acclimated to the game changes, retire them Day 41, and then make new players.

Players created mid-season will always be behind the curve. Play with them this season to get back up to speed, and then retire them on Day 41. DON'T BOOST THEM -- it'll just be wasted Flex if you're gonna retire them in 20 days anyway.

Absolutely correct. Do NOT spend any more flex on this dot but use this season to learn as much as possible with him. Then retire and start with a new DOT. Also, now would be a very good time to troll the TLFP (teams looking for players) forum and make contact with the appropriate owners there to find a home for your NEW DOT before you even build him. This way you won't have to worry about this stuff later.
