since blitzing the QB is pretty much dead. Can we give DCs the option to 'run blitz'?

All it would take is an option in the DPC for who the blitzer should be 'targeting' with the blitz.

1. - blitz QB
2. - blitz HB
3. - blitz FB

That would at least give DCs the ability to blitz on rushing plays without the fear of the blitzer trying to tackle the QB on a toss/sweep.

It will just lead to oc bitching and then getting another offense buff

I would be in favor of that if they implemented a play action pass to go along with it
