How much randomness is involved in the play calling?

I used the same settings for two scrims... 100% run, 95% to HB, 5% to FB,, auto adjust OFF, score based play calling all options NOT CHECKED

In one scrim the HB had 89 carries, FB had 3, and there was 1 pass
In the second scrim the HB had 38 carries, FB had 13, and there were 13 passes

Both scrims were victories during which we never trailed (not that that should matter with the options chosen above).

Why such a discrepency?

Basic AI will also use some "common sense" type stuff.

For example, 3rd and long you'll be hard-pressed to find yourself running the ball.

First game listed took lead in Q1...second game did not take lead until 3rd Q. Score based playcalling was not enabled.

100% run...auto adjust off... Passing down "long" distance set to 20 yds (never had this far to go on any down in the game) and 13 passes are thrown in the second game

Why even have these options if the they are going to be disregarded anyway? Yes I know I can get a lot more specific in the AI, but if these options are made available in the basic why not adhere to them when they are set?

So, if i go 100% passing, will I still run the ball 15-20 times because I have a lead or many first down plays?
