angled punts are a function of the build. wont be 100% but it is a pretty high %.

even by situation? havent built a punter in years so i have no clue

yep. the build determines how well they can corner kick. but like i said, like all of glb, it'll never be 100%. thats why some punters put more inside the 20 vs others that get more touchbacks.

i understand that aspect, but the punter should at least try to punt it out of bounds right?

In that situation the punter might not have even got it that far if he went straight out of bounds. I dont even know if you would want that. I think you gotta trust your ST's there to get the job done and end the game just like your guys did. If it goes out of bounds they have time to throw a bomb pass.

if his build doesnt tell him to angle the ball towards the sideline, he almost never will. and even if his build does indicate to angle kick, the RNG will still come into play and say, nope, punt it straight. so i'm confused as to which part is confusing you.
