Once you use your Sp for your first cap. Say its a WR and you get to 1st SPD cap, once you do that do you save your Sp from then for your next attribute to reach 1st cap, or save them for first attribute to get 2nd cap?

Save them to get that same attribute to the second cap. In fact, you generally want to keep investing skill points in that attribute until it's 77, 80, 83, or 85 depending upon your build plan. With my HB I stopped at 77 because I have a lot of attributes I want to increase by the end build, but on my offensive linemen I only care about three attributes so I pushed straight to 85.

And this really carries through a lot of the positions. A lot of builders will place a large SP and training focus on a dot's top 3 or 4 attributes, many times pushing the top 3 all above 90+ natural.

Personally, I like to stick down a cap lower than jd at ~83, but the principle is the same.

Taking an attribute to ~83, ~85, etc. and then continuing to train it (via multi-training) is very solid build strategy for a top dot.
