Two big games today, with the main bout being the #1 Kittens vs the #3 Fire, signaling the beginning of Pontiac's GLB version of the Bataan Death march into the playoffs, with the under card being the recently slumping Reign, vs the .500 team in the making, slump buster Panthers.

Detroit continues it's playoff revival campaign against the Huskies, and New Jersey looks to extend what could honestly be one of the longest losing streaks in GLB as they face an, according to their owner, divinely inspired, Murder City.

And as playoff bubble team maryland looks to try & climb back into the playoff chase, will a seemingly silent and unrepresented Lexington try to distance itself from the bottom of the league & reach the ever elusive "middle class" status??

Will Canton get it's revenge on the team that kept them out of the playoffs last year, or will they upset Canton's playoff hopes for a 2nd season in a row??

Does Hartford's roster have ANY energy left??

Who on the Columbus Buckeye roster will step up to make this weeks not so cleverly veiled reference to "dropping" a game??

Will New York band together to achieve the entirely possible and scrape yet another loss from the jaws of an already statistically improbable victory?!?

Will Megatropolis ever correctly scale all the avatar's of it's female players?

Will Carson city defy the odds & "Box in" Maryland playoff hopes (yeah, that one was painful i know.. but it's ok , there's practically no bad geometry puns after that) ??

Step one of the Baataan death march was brutal, but we held #3 to no TD's and picked up 17 points in the 4th quarter for a 2 point Kitten win.

The Fire kicker was killer. a 51 yarder and 2 or 3 over 40 yards.

17 points in the 4th is pretty clutch.

And your shot at geometry based puns would have been? You got the blurb about climbing back into the playoff chase, carson city got the box. Maryland still needs to beat seattle to get back in the pack (& having seen both of you i can tell you that won't be an easy feat) & thats a few games away so that game wasn't really overflowing with immediate implications.. let carson city get a little love every now & again, they try hard.

hi, gents. shers and i (carson city cubes) have been meaning
to post more but haven't gotten to it a whole lot. pretty
exciting season. 7/8 of the playoff race seem fairly certain
but it's a good race for the last spot.

as for us trying hard, well, thanks for the shout-out, but yeah.
we knew going in that we weren't going to perform well this
season. new team, and our main focus is preparing for s4.
we're still looking for 3-4 wins this season. lexington last
week was a heartbreaker, but as close as we expected, so i guess
if we're on point with expectations, that's a good thing.

as for the power rankings of us winning 2, well, i think
you're (the author) is a bit off there, and i'm not sure how
lexington is going to pull off 6 wins either, but i suppose
we'll see.

good luck to you all. we just held maryland to 0 offensive
touchdowns so we're feeling good about that. we have by far
the weakest starting lineup in the conference but i think we've
outperformed that quite well so far and will continue to
outplay the numbers in coming weeks.

as the for next couple games, well, a few teams can expect
a hearty dose of being cubed.
